Columbus Circle by Lenox China Named for the beautiful landmark at the edge of Central Park in Manhattan, Columbus Circle by Lenox China will be a classy addition to your dining room! From Lenox’s popular “Classics Collection,” Columbus Circle is beautifully formed white china, with wide platinum trim on the outside rim of the plate, three thin, concentric platinum bands set against a light gray background inside the wide platinum band, and a thin platinum band at the verge of the plate. (The verge area is where the well of the plate merges with the rim.) This elegant, clean design with sparkling platinum trim was produced in 2003, and coordinates beautifully with a wide array of linens, flatware, and crystal. The 40-piece set that we are offering includes 8 cups and saucers, 8 dinner plates, 8 salad plates, and 8 bread and butter plates. These newly received pieces are direct from Lenox, whose quality standards are extremely high, and are designated as “manufacturer’s imperfections.” In our overall inspection of this shipment, the typical imperfections include specks in the glaze, slightly misplaced decorations, or trim spots on the underside of the pieces. On most pieces, it is difficult to find any imperfection at all. While the imperfections in these pieces are minor, the savings available to you are significant.
