Replacements, Ltd. honored with prestigious international award for marketplace ethics
GREENSBORO, N.C., September 25, 2006 – The Council of Better Business Bureaus (CBBB) recently selected Replacements, Ltd. as an honorable mention recipient for the
2006 Better Business Bureau International Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics.
This award recognizes North American companies that demonstrate integrity, reliability and are dedicated to upholding high ethical standards. The Council evaluated applicants based on criteria including practices in the marketplace; behavior toward customers, employees, suppliers and communities in which they do business; and training and communications programs to help employees carry out established ethical policies.
More than 1,000 businesses across the United States, Canada and Mexico applied for this honor at the local level, with selected applicants being nominated for entry at the international level. Replacements, Ltd. was one of nine companies honored recently at the 2006 BBB International Torch Award ceremony in Vancouver, British Columbia.
